So for those of you who have been to our house and think it is brick - no way! It is fake brick sheeting and is asbestos backed.
We now have our 2nd demo quote in and it is about 20% more expensive than the first one AAARRGGGHH!
We also have to submit a DA to council for this and the timing has to be just right around when Clarendon want to start, when we need to move out, as well as school holidays (or starting for Amy) AND Xmas/New Year. Oh and did I mention that we have to get utilities disconnected and they all need different time allowances? And not just disconnect for billing but they actually have to take gas and water taps from the property - wonder how much that will cost?
We have had some good news though this afternoon - we have survey "boys" - to quote the person who rang me - coming to my house tomorrow for 4 hours to do the contour survey.
Finally some action - yay!
This is going to be a fun ride!
